My Spanish Journey
I first started learning Spanish at university, going from absolute beginner to C1/C2 level. I had always been fascinated by Latin America and opted for modules based on the literature, politics and history of the region. When I decided to spend my year abroad in Central America, I fell in love with the pura vida lifestyle of Costa Rica and the influence of Caribbean culture in Panama. But I knew there was still so much more to discover. Once I completed my studies, I packed my bags and spent a year between Colombia and Panama, plus an amazing trip to Peru. Following this, I pursued a career in e-learning, where I created online Spanish courses for time-limited professionals and developed a deep understanding of learning design. As a lover of latin music, I’m also part of an amazing salsa caleña community in London and I trained with world champions in Cali, the capital of salsa.
